Besides their activities in JRK they also met on a regular basis and rehearsed as a choir. The release was part of a fundraising initiative for developement aid for third world countries, e.g. Dahomey (Benin). It was sold for 4.50 German Marks (approx. 2.30€) and the net profit of 2 Marks for each record was used for the support of the initiative and for the work of the JRK.
