Notes:

Reissue of the compilation LP originally released in 1968. Sleeve has an embossed EMI logo rear bottom right. Magical Mystery Tour was originally released, as in England, in  EP form in 1967. Following the success of the US album, Apple/Hör Zu  released MMT as an album in early 1972. This album contains the first  stereo  appearance  anywhere  of  "Baby,  You're  a  Rich  Man"  and  the  second stereo appearance of "Penny Lane." This original issue has the  rectangular Hör Zu logo on the cover and label. Second pressings from  1973 feature the newer "record player" Hör Zu logo. In 1978, Magical  Mystery Tour was reissued with the EEC numbering and a large apple on  the front cover; the price code changed from 062/064 to 072 in 1981. This last issue is the most common. Later, the price code changed back to 064. I have a copy with the German artwork, Apple logo on front (left upper corner) with the remastering 04449-A1+C / 04449-B1+C matrix numbers (no reference of Hörzu SHZE). Cat. number is 1C 064 [10 4449 1 on back cover, 064 10 4449 1 on spine, 1C 072 -04 449 on labels, and the catalog numbers for cassette (1C 264 10 4449 4) and for CD (7 48062 2) underneath the LP cat. number on back sleeve. Barcode underneath CD cat. number reads 5 099910 444917. (Numbers of barcode seem to be printed by dot matrix printer and then photo copied into the art work.) Label code LC 0299 added underneath the bar code. Embossed EMI logo on rear, lower right corner, company EMI Electrola (80s style logo). Seems to be the latest repress of this remaster, before LPs carried the digital CD remaster, and used the international artwork. [r3800569
