This UK pressing with matrix/runout CHC 48 A -1U-1-1 belongs to the Chrysalis CHC mid-price reissue series, which was introduced in the early 1980s. The original album was released in 1978 under catalogue number CHR 1176, but the CHC 48 code did not exist at that time.

The CHC series was launched by Chrysalis around 1983 to reissue selected titles at a lower retail price. The presence of the CHC 48 catalogue number, combined with the EMI-style matrix suffix -1U, confirms this pressing as a 1983 reissue, not part of the original 1978 run.

This dating is consistent with other Chrysalis reissues from the same series and pressing plant identifiers.
